Network Specialist

• Confirming device connection.
• Photographing installation configuration.
• Administering site survey for future hardware deployment.
• Resolving issues on site should any arise during installation/deployment.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• 2+ years in any of the following areas: Information Technology, Installation Technician, Helpdesk Tier 1+, Network Operations Center Technician

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

• Ability to identify and troubleshoot defective equipment
• Determine and resolve hardware issues prior to deployment
• Possess network room knowledge and experience

• Effective record-keeping skills (i.e., installers will record serial number, model number, courthouse, street address, county, network room number /locator, etc.)

TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS AND UNIQUE PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• 08:00 17:00 M-F
• Occasional travel between training locations potentially required
• Sitting or standing for extended periods of time required
• Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and to handle other computer components
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs., operate hand truck and pallet jack in a warehouse environment
• Should possess a valid driver s license, dependable vehicle, and state required motor vehicle insurance
• Expected to travel statewide for the duration of the deployment project
