Job Title: Sr. PeopleSoft Application Support Consultant (Techno-Functional / Functional)
Location: Remote
W2 Contract
Duration: 2 years +


Job Summary:
We are seeking experienced PeopleSoft Application Support Consultants both Techno-Functional and Functional to support ongoing business operations, enhancements, and issue resolution within the PeopleSoft environment. The ideal candidates will have strong hands-on experience in PeopleSoft Finance, HCM, or Campus Solutions modules, as well as a solid understanding of business processes, system configuration, and user support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day functional and technical support for PeopleSoft modules (Finance / HCM / Campus Solutions).
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, including performance, integration, and data-related problems.
  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional and/or technical solutions.
  • Participate in PeopleSoft upgrades, patch analysis, testing, and deployment.
  • Configure application components, business rules, and workflows to meet business needs.
  • Collaborate with business users, developers, DBAs, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
  • Create and maintain documentation for system processes, configurations, and issue resolutions.
  • Perform unit testing, assist with QA and UAT, and support production go-lives.
  • Develop or modify PeopleSoft components (for Techno-Functional roles), including PeopleCode, Application Engine, SQR, Component Interfaces, and Integration Broker.


Required Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience with PeopleSoft applications in a support or implementation role.
  • Strong knowledge in at least one core module: Financials, HCM, or Campus Solutions.
  • For Techno-Functional roles: Experience with PeopleCode, App Engine, SQR, and Integration Broker.
  • Strong troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and problem-solving skills.
  • Hands-on experience with ticketing systems and SLAs for application support.
  • Familiarity with Oracle databases, SQL queries, and application security concepts.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with PeopleSoft 9.x and Tools 8.5x versions
  • Exposure to cloud migration, bolt-on integrations, or third-party tools
  • Experience in a higher education, healthcare, or public sector environment
  • ITIL certification or formal support process training
