Typical Day in the Role

Purpose of the Team: The purpose of this team is the windows server project

Key projects: This role will contribute to shipping window servers and release management duties

Typical task breakdown and operating rhythm: The role will consist of 20% meetings, 30% ADO, 30% email communication, 20% dashboard and reports

Candidate Requirements

Years of Experience Required: 4+ overall years of experience in the field.

Degrees or certifications required: Bachelors degree or equivalent is required to be eligible for this role.

Disqualifiers: Candidates with too much AI experience, if resume mentions AI more than twice not interested or IT pro support will not be eligible for the role.

Best vs. Average: The ideal resume would contain engineering background, Microsoft experience in windows and release functions, windows development and release ex. localization, compliance, OEM, or launch manager experience.

Performance Indicators: Performance will be assessed based on quality of work, continue to grow, and feedback

Top 3 Hard Skills Required + Years of Experience

1.Minimum 4 years experience with collaboration.

2.Minimum 4 years experience with negotiating.

3.Minimum 4 years experience with driving positive outcomes.

RELEASE MANAGER:

Interface with clients, as required, on technical matters and/or project subject matters from project initiation through delivery. Provide program/project schedules and status reports. Create the functional specification, requirements and/or scope that will be used as a tool in making decisions as to how the product, service and/or project will be implemented. Provide technical and/or analytical information to Product Managers, as required. Organize cross functional activities ensuring that the program is completed on schedule and within budget constraints. May manage/oversee project.
