Job Title: ETL Developer / Business Liaison
Location: Boston, MA (Hybrid 2 3 days onsite per week)
Duration: 6 Months


Position Summary

A leading organization is seeking an ETL Developer / Business Liaison to support digital transformation initiatives within a major internal department. This role involves partnering with business stakeholders, serving as the primary liaison for data needs, and delivering end-to-end ETL and data integration solutions in a global delivery model. You will contribute to architectural discussions, develop high-quality ETL processes, support production, and ensure seamless communication between business and IT teams.


Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in creating application architecture documentation to ensure alignment with overall technical strategy.

  • Develop design artifacts and support prototypes through proof-of-concept (POC) efforts.

  • Deliver high-quality code and assist peers in code quality checks to ensure alignment with design requirements.

  • Produce documentation for assigned modules and features.

  • Lead validation activities across all testing phases (Functional, Integration, System, UAT, UX, etc.).

  • Contribute to the Go-Live plan and lead assigned implementation tasks.

  • Conduct root-cause analysis for post-implementation issues and drive effective resolutions.

  • Participate in knowledge-transfer sessions and support transition activities.

  • Conduct impact analysis for logged issues, prioritize fixes, and ensure production support within SLA commitments.

  • Lead data integration projects and guide other team members.

  • Communicate IT changes clearly to business stakeholders to ensure smooth transitions.

  • Serve as a bridge between business and technical teams by understanding both perspectives and translating needs effectively.


Required Qualifications

  • Must be located within commuting distance of Boston, MA (hybrid schedule: 2 3 days onsite).

  • Bachelor s degree from an accredited institution, or equivalent experience (3 years of relevant experience may substitute for each year of required education).

  • At least 3 years of experience with Informatica IICS ETL.

  • At least 3 years of experience with Snowflake.

  • Experience with additional ETL platforms (SSIS, ODI, CDATA).

  • Strong experience with end-to-end data warehouse and data mart implementations.

  • U.S. Citizenship or authorization to work in the U.S. required; sponsorship is not available.

  • Strong SQL and Unix shell scripting skills.

  • Snowflake certification(s) preferred.

  • Solid understanding of data integration, data quality, and data architecture.

  • Experience with relational modeling, dimensional modeling, and handling unstructured data.

  • Familiarity with Agile development frameworks.
