Job Description:

Apex Systems is seeking a Full Stack Developer supporting a major DoD program in Dahlgren, VA. The Full Stack Developer will assist with the entire hardware/software lifecycle, including planning, deployment, maintenance, upgrading, monitoring, and capacity planning. Location: Hybrid in Dahlgren, VA

Duration: 6+ month contract-to-hire

#Clearance: Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance

Compensation: $105k-115k conversion salary

Responsibilities
  • Manage the customers problem through effective diagnosis, resolution, or implementation of investigation tools to increase productivity for customer issues on Azure/AWS cloud environments.
  • Act as a consultant and subject matter expert for internal stakeholders in Engineering, IT, and customer organizations to resolve technical deployment obstacles and improve.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality software code and automated tests (Including Unit, Functional, Performance, Acceptance) for web interface application that integrates data, analytics and reporting components.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma required or Bacherlos Degree preferred
  • 3+ years relevant work experience
  • Knowledge and Working Experience of basic web technologies (e.g., Vue.js, Python, Java, HTML, etc.)
  • Understanding and Experience with Gitlab Project management (Version Control, CI/CD etc.)
  • Knowledge of configuring and troubleshooting Kubernetes infrastructure creation and deployments.
  • Experience working in a customer-facing role.
  • Experience working with IaaS solutions, including system virtualization, on-premises and/or hybrid cloud computing, cloud identity and security system, cloud monitoring and logging, and/or local and cloud storage.
  • Knowledge and Working Experience with PlantUML, YAML and JSON files.
  • Understanding of networking fundamentals (e.g., TCP/IP, Routing, VPNs, VLANs, Peering, Load Balancing, etc.).
  • Changes in code can be proven to be correct and bug free.
  • Ability to troubleshoot.
  • Excellent attention to detail and written/verbal communication skills.
