ECS is seeking an F5 Engineer to work in our Washington, DC office / remote .
ECS is seeking an F5 Engineer to support our Federal government client and provide the following services:
- Configure, implement, and manage F5 load balancing (both LTM and GTM).
- Design, deploy, and maintain an enterprise network infrastructure.
- Provide operational support for data center networking.
- Resolve security tools, infrastructure, or system issues.
- Create alerts that trigger/activate on configured setting to deploy or sends a note, email, or attachments to a particulate destination email or groups.
- Validate security rules (alerts) that trigger anomalous activities or threat detections
- Resolve security tools, infrastructure, or system issues

Required Skills
- Experience with F5 BIG-IP (LTM, GTM, APM, AFM, AWAF).
- Experience with F5 BIG-IQ for Centralized Management and Monitoring of BIG-IP configurations.
- Ability to work independently with provided requirements.
- Possess a self-starter personality to acquire a path forward based on research and requirements gathering.
Desired Skills
- Eight (8)+ years of experience in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Six (6)+ or more years of IT security experience.
- Experience with both the Linux and Windows operating systems.
- Experience working with cloud services such as AWS, Azure and O365 and cloud access security brokers.
- Experience in the use of network monitoring tools with a strong understanding of network protocols.
- Ability to perform security analysis, development and implementation of security policies.
- Candidates that are local to the Washington, DC area for occasional on-site datacenter support
