Hardware Support Technician

Job Requirements:

• Linux and Linux's command-based language is where the issues are found in test operations are troubleshot.
• If there are errors in the test results, you need to have the analytical mind to troubleshoot those results.
• Only working to troubleshoot and debug hardware, there is no software troubleshooting being done in this role.
• Troubleshooting and debugging computer hardware in the computer/server racks and equipment.
• Must Have:
  • solid understanding of the Linux operating system which manages the communications between software and equipment hardware.
  • a solid understanding of computer firmware (the automatic tests that computers run to ensure hardware will function appropriately at start up).
  • a solid understanding of computer hardware, troubleshooting computer hardware, and an understanding of the functionalities of different computer hardware.
  • experience building computers

Pay and Benefits:

• Pay: $48/hour
• Guaranteed Overtime Each Week paid at time and a half
• Access to a full suite of benefits
• Paid travel expenses to and from job sites
• Paid lodging (Single-Occupancy Hotel Room)
• Per diem ($45/day)
• Flexibility to take time off between assignments
• Ability to perform tasks with little to no supervision
• Ability to travel and commit to assignments ranging from 3 months to 1 year
• Ability to work 2nd and 3rd shifts, including overtime for the duration of the assignment (50+ hours/week)
• Must meet drug test requirements
