Senior Network Security Engineer

Are you looking for a Network Security position? A food and beverage corporation seeks a skilled engineer to reinforce their network security team. You will tackle a variety of network security challenges across both on-premises and cloud-based infrastructures. This role is a mix of operational and engineering responsibilities, with a focus on firewall customization.

Your tasks will span firewall setup and customization (with a preference for Palo Alto expertise), DNS security, web access proxies, URL filtering, VPN, and authentication/authorization. Proficiency in design and architecture, threat analysis, or risk mitigation would be valuable. You will also be responsible for ensuring compliance by working cross-functionally to develop security policies, documentation and designing network security solutions.

Contract: 10-12 months

Required Skills & Experience

• 4-5 years' experience with Firewalls (Cisco or Palo Alto)
• Networking knowledge
• Cloud (Azure preferred)

Desired Skills & Experience

• Aruba or Meraki experience
• Experience in highly regulated environment
• Past role on a cross-functional team
• BA in computer science, MIS, or related field
