Technical writer

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and intellectually curious Senior Technical Writer to join our marketing team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of creating compelling content across various formats, including articles, white papers, and blog posts, that engage and captivate senior technology decision-makers, such as CTOs, CIOs, and CEOs at technology companies and enterprises that heavily rely on proprietary technology. The Senior Technical Writer will collaborate closely with subject matter experts, thought leaders, and marketing team members to develop content that highlights Encora's expertise and unique insights.

Responsibilities:

• Create captivating and thought-provoking content, including articles, white papers, blog posts, and other formats, that resonates with senior technology decision-makers
• Partner with subject matter experts and thought leaders to transform cutting-edge ideas on emerging, high-impact topics into clear and compelling communications
• Exhibit a strong grasp of technical subjects to effectively communicate Encora's expertise and proprietary insights
• Collaborate with C-suite executives (CMO, CEO) to develop executive-level communications and thought leadership content
• Ensure all content aligns with Encora's brand voice, style guide, and industry best practices
• Manage multiple projects concurrently while adhering to strict deadlines
• Continuously learn and stay current with the latest trends and advancements in technology and digital innovation

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Journalism, or a related field
• 7+ years of experience as a technical writer, ideally in the technology or software engineering industry
• Demonstrated ability to create engaging and persuasive content for senior technology decision-makers
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a knack for translating complex technical concepts into easily understandable language
• Expertise in a range of relevant domains, such as cloud computing, artificial intelligence, machine learning, IoT, blockchain, cybersecurity, or data analytics
• Excellent project management and organizational skills
• Intellectual curiosity and an eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced company
• Proficiency with content management systems and collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, SharePoint)
• Experience with SEO and content optimization is a plus
