Position: Senior Oracle Application Development Manager

Location: Canada (Remote)
Contract: 12 Months w/extensions


Position Overview

We are looking for a highly experienced and motivated Senior Oracle Application Development Manager to lead and manage our Application Development team. This role is crucial to ensuring the effective delivery of application development support, solutions, development, and maintenance services, with a strong focus on team performance optimization and customer satisfaction.


Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership

  • Lead, mentor, and manage offshore Application Development teams to ensure high performance.
  • Coordinate with onshore teams to align objectives and ensure seamless service delivery.

Service Delivery

  • Oversee the support and maintenance of Oracle Application Development, including Oracle EBS modules, Oracle ERP Cloud (SaaS), custom applications, extensions, and integrations.
  • Ensure timely resolution of deliverables and issues as well as adherence to SLAs.
  • Review, edit, and author business requirements and solution/design documents.
  • Mentor team members technically and professionally.

Client Engagement

  • Act as a primary point of contact for client communications, ensuring strong relationships and high satisfaction.
  • Understand client needs and requirements to provide tailored solutions.

Project Management

  • Plan, execute, and manage Oracle Application Development projects, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation and transition.

Quality Assurance

  • Implement and maintain best practices in service delivery and project management.
  • Conduct regular reviews and audits to ensure compliance with standards and policies.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Oversee performance management, including setting and evaluating goals.
  • Handle employee transactions such as hiring, termination, and transfers.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 15+ years of experience in Oracle EBS support and implementation, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
  • Strong expertise in Oracle EBS R12.2 and Oracle ERP Cloud (SaaS) Financials and related modules.
  • Solid techno-functional expertise of Oracle ERP, including API interfaces and integration technologies.
  • Proven experience leading offshore teams and managing large-scale projects.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a global, multicultural environment.

Preferred

  • Master s degree (MBA or related).
  • PMP or equivalent project management certification.
  • Experience in third-party maintenance and support services.
