Job Details
- 7+ years of functional experience leading HCM and Payroll modules for a large-scale ERP implementation (Workday, PeopleSoft, Oracle, or SAP).
- Must have direct, hands-on experience with the end-to-end payroll lifecycle and its direct integration with HCM, including Time Tracking, Absence, and Benefits.
- Deep understanding of core HCM concepts including organizational structures, job models, compensation, and employee lifecycles.
- Proven ability to configure systems, troubleshoot complex functional issues, and guide business process design.
- Experience in Higher Education or State & Local Government is highly preferred, with an understanding of the unique pay structures, funding sources, and reporting requirements.
- Workday HCM and/or Payroll certification or proven implementation experience is a significant advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to explain complex functional concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
