Data Governance: Establishing policies and procedures for data management. Data Quality: Ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and consistency. Data Architecture: Designing the structure and organization of data within an organization. Data Security: Protecting data from unauthorized access and breaches. Metadata Management: Managing information about the data itself. Data Integration & Interoperability: Enabling data from different sources to be combined and used effectively.

Purpose & Objective

• Client is seeking contractors to assist with Data Management Services for transitioning from legacy systems to a new system.
• The goal is to analyze, cleanse, and remediate data to ensure a robust, secure, and efficient data foundation.
• Efforts support case management and decision-makingin child welfare and adult protection programs.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations and maintain uninterrupted services.

Scope of Data Management Services

1. Manage overall data cleansing efforts assess data quality in existing and related DFPS systems.
2. Guide data cleansing provide instructions and clear processes.
3. Engage SMEs communicate data cleansing routines to align with business needs.
4. Report progress provide regular status updates to management.

Project Manager Role

• Plan, budget, oversee, and document all project aspects.
• May work individually or oversee a team.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder communications.
• Facilitate collaboration between technical teams, business stakeholders, and external vendors.

Key Project Manager Responsibilities

1. Project Coordination use defined project management methodologies.
2. Risk & Issue Management identify and mitigate risks/issues.
3. Team Alignment coordinate technical and business teams for accountability.
4. Stakeholder Communication engage with DFPS IT management, data teams, and other stakeholders to ensure task completion.

Minimum Requirements:

• Experience with enterprise data quality initiatives leveraging best practices according to the DAMA DMBOK and industry standards.
• Experience working independently with minimal supervision; ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks and directional changes under short and firm deadlines.
• Strong analytical, trouble shooting and problem-solving skills in data related projects.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with all project stakeholders, including executive leadership, business subject area leaders, and project staff.
• Advanced interpersonal skills: adept at quickly developing healthy relationships and ascertaining how to work with a variety of individuals at all levels.
• Excellent written and oral communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
• Bachelor s degree or equivalent work-related experience.
