Android Application Development Engineer

Job Title: Android Application Development Engineer (eInfochips Inc.)

What You'll Be Doing:

Developing application in Android Stack, Sensor framework, Media framework, Radio
technology BLE, Wifi, development in JNI and HAL layer.
Perform software testing including unit, functional and system level requirements including
manual and automated.
Perform code review following coding guidelines and static code analysis & troubleshoots
software problems of limited difficulty.
Document technical deliverable like software specifications, design document, code
commenting, test cases and test report, Release note etc. throughout the project life cycle.
Develop software solutions from established programming languages or by learning new
language required for specific project.
Develop new approaches to complex design problems.

What We Are Looking For:

BS or MS in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
Typically requires a 4-year degree and a minimum of 5+ years of related experience; or an
advanced degree without experience; or equivalent work experience.
Strong experience in Google Android stack, expertise in Kotlin, Sensor Hub communication.
Must have worked in JNI and HAL layer.
Provides informal guidance to junior Engineers.
Able to explain implementation.
Hands on experience in Java and Kotlin.
Experience in ADB shell commands.
Good in Debugging skills.

Annual Hiring Range/Hourly Rate:
$92,400.00 - $170,500.00

Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic
location, work experience, education, and/or skill level. The pay ratio between base pay and target
