Overview

This is a remote role that may be hired in several markets across the United States.

This position is responsible for all aspects of Cloud and Operational Governance as it pertains to Infrastructure Engineering and Operations as well as all operating services within the Private and Public Cloud Landing Zones. This position ensures that risks and risk tolerance are properly evaluated and managed against the control framework. This will monitor and oversee the ongoing adherence of programs and controls testing and will report on that adherence. This role will be expected to speak directly with internal lines of defense as well as regulators regarding the metrics and adherence to the control framework to present the overall maturity of the cloud and operating environments. This role will have governance responsibilities in advisory groups and forums to disposition issues and drive a consistent compliant framework.

Responsibilities

  • Chair the governance secretary for the Cloud Advisory Group managing actions, decisioning and disposition with the responsible members.
  • Hold the responsibilities of the Infrastructure Executive Forum secretary, insuring proper governance and controls for actions, decisioning and disposition.
  • Oversee Technology processes and controls to the control framework.
  • Discipline and Structure - Build and drive a culture of discipline and structure.
  • Regulatory and Governance - Responsible for all aspects and performance of Cloud Operational Program. Required to participate in all audits and exams relating to Cloud Operations and Control as well as present to Senior Management, Risk Committee's and other Governance bodies and Regulatory interactions.
  • Managerial and Leadership Functions - Foster a positive culture through inspiring leadership that creates a sense of ownership and responsibility. Teamwork and Collaboration remain at the forefront of how leadership and the team interact across the organization. Open communications that remove any focus on blame and promote honesty with responsibility to develop a "find issues and fix them so they don't happen again" mindset.
  • Establishes and monitors expectations to achieve company and department goals. Makes appropriate changes to team policies, procedures, and efficiencies in order to meet objectives. Manages the performance, training, and evaluation of assigned staff and service providers. Maximizes department achievements by providing professional development and ensures proper long term and short-term workforce planning. Establishes, manages, and monitors financial processes from an IT perspective to achieve budget goals. Responsible for financial management, invoice audits, the capitalization process, and accurate financial reporting.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree and 10 years of experience in Technology delivery, Portfolio, Program, or Project Management, Operational Excellence OR High School Diploma or GED and 14 years of experience in Technology delivery, Portfolio, Program, or Project Management, Operational Excellence

The base pay for this position is generally between $192,000 and $333,000. Actual starting base pay will be determined based on skills, experience, location, and other non-discriminatory factors permitted by law. For some roles, total compensation may also include variable incentives, bonuses, benefits, and/or other awards as outlined in the offer of employment.
