  • JOB DESCRIPTION:
  • Note: Candidates must have a solid understanding of FEED processes and early-stage project development within the energy or pipeline infrastructure industry.We are seeking an experienced FEED Engineer to support front-end engineering and design (FEED) initiatives across multiple energy and pipeline infrastructure projects. This role involves developing project scopes, cost estimates, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to define and deliver project solutions that align with business goals.Key Responsibilities
    • Estimate costs for interconnects and meter stations, including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
    • Develop initial scopes and cost estimates for Tactical (~$10MM), Major ($10MM+), and Mega ($200MM+) expansion projects.
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (commercial, system planning, regulatory, environmental, etc.) to define project requirements and deliver accurate cost projections.
    • Prepare Class III, IV, and V estimates for greenfield and brownfield interconnect and meter station projects.
    • Conduct capacity studies and provide desktop scope and estimates for reimbursable interconnect projects.
    • Communicate with vendors, suppliers, and contractors to gather budgetary data and validate cost assumptions.
    • Lead discussions with internal and external customers to align on project scope, costs, and feasibility.
    • Create preliminary meter station schematics and assist in reviewing Interconnect & Facility Agreements.
    • Deliver technical presentations and support project decision-making processes.
    Qualifications & Requirements
    • Bachelor s degree in Engineering required (Mechanical, Civil, or related field preferred).
    • 3 5 years of relevant engineering experience, particularly in cost estimating and FEED development.
    • Strong understanding of pipeline or energy infrastructure projects.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Power BI, Word, Outlook).
    • Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
    • Demonstrated ability to work independently on mid-sized technical projects and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Skills: Strong cost estimating expertise for labor, materials, equipment, and contractor/subcontractor costs., Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI, Solid understanding of FEED processes and early-stage project development within energy or pipeline infrastructure.
