Job Details
Position Requirements (Face to Face interview)
- College degree (B.S.) in computer science.
- Multi-year database server-side application development experience with Oracle RDBMS required along with experience developing Bash programs on Linux.
- Must possess skills to code subprograms, packages and web applications in PL/SQL.
- Understanding of PL/SQL fundamentals and concepts like transactional control, data concurrency and consistency, dynamic sql, composite and instead of triggers, collections, error handling, autonomous transactions, distributed transactions, debugging, profiling and tracing modules is must.
- Good understanding of SQL and constructing SQL statements native to Oracle systems required. Exposure to advanced/analytical sql functions and regular expressions is desired.
- Exposure to XML DB, JSON, built-in PL/SQL packages and Advanced Queuing is a plus.
- Familiar with Oracle utilities like SqlPlus, SQLoader, Data Pump and External Tables.
- Experience writing Bash/PowerShell programs to manage database ETL processes.
- Experience in troubleshooting and resolving database integrity issues, performance issues related to code execution, data aggregation, loading and replication issues, networking/connectivity issues, security issues etc.
- Achiever, self-motivated, self-responsible, and accountable.
- Ability to follow standard processes and communicate effectively with the team regarding technical, progress and critical issues.
- Solid written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong problem solving, organizational skills, and decision making skills oriented on obtaining desired results.
- Willing to provide support in evenings and weekends and be available by company supplied phone.
