QA Engineer (Cypress / QTest / MDM / Snowflake)
Job Overview:
We are seeking a QA Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Cypress automation, QTest, MDM, and Snowflake. This is a remote, long-term contract opportunity (must be based in the U.S. and able to work MST hours).
The ideal candidate will have 6 9 years of overall QA experience, combining both automation and manual testing. You will be responsible for designing, executing, and maintaining automation frameworks, performing API and data layer testing, and validating complex data systems built on MDM and Snowflake.
This role requires a balance of technical depth, analytical thinking, and strong collaboration with development and QA teams to ensure the highest quality of deliverables.
Location: Remote (must be within the U.S. and open to MST hours)

Duration: Long-term Contract
Pay Rate: $50/hr W2 (no benefits)

Experience Required:
6 9 years total QA experience (mix of automation and manual testing)
Top Skills & Technologies:
Hands-on experience with Cypress (JavaScript) for test automation
Strong background in manual testing
Experience with QTest must-have
Programming knowledge in Python or Java (for API testing, utilities, backend validation)
SQL for data validation and Snowflake for data layer testing
API testing for data ingestion and services
Good understanding of MDM (Master Data Management)
Experience with AWS environments
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute automation scripts using Cypress
Perform manual and automated testing across web and data platforms
Validate data pipelines, APIs, and backend integrations
Work closely with QA leads and development teams to enhance test frameworks and processes
Support testing for MDM and Snowflake-based data systems
