Title: Informatica IICS/snowflake Developer

Hybrid role at Austin, TX

Duration 12 months

Roles/Responsibilities:

• Understands business objectives and problems, identifies alternative solutions, performs studies and cost/benefit analysis of alternatives. Analyzes user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate processing or to improve existing computer system: Confers with personnel of organizational units involved to analyze current operational procedures, identify problems, and learn specific input and output requirements, such as forms of data input, how data is to be; summarized, and formats for reports. Write detailed description of user needs, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify computer programs. Reviews computer system capabilities, specifications, and scheduling limitations to determine if requested program or program change is possible within existing system.
• We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated individual who specializes in Informatica Cloud Services (IICS).
• The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise in multi-domain environments, enabling them to lead and deliver complex IICS implementations for our clients.
• This role requires a strong understanding of the Informatica toolset, including IICS and relevant business processes, along with excellent communication and client management skills.

Mandatory Skills:

1. 8 years of experience below:

1. Extensive experience in designing, implementing, and managing Informatica IICS/snowflake solutions.
2. E2E implementation experience involving phases from design, realization, testing, to go-live.
3. Deep understanding of Informatica data modeling, workflow, and integration capabilities and technologies, APIs, web services, and Informatica ETL tools.
4. Strong knowledge of data governance, data quality, and data integration principles.
5. Expertise in Azure Cloud and Snowflake Cloud Datawarehouse.
6. Strong knowledge in SQL Queries and Query optimization.
7. Ability to interact at a technical and non-technical level with Infrastructure, Network, Development, BA and QA.
8. Development experience in high transaction/high availability systems.
9. Experience with analyzing and recommending solutions for Production issues short-term and long term.
10. Must have Informatica PowerCenter/IICS development experience.
11. Knowledge and experience of managing reference data systems.
12. Provide technical mentorship to junior ETL developers; establish coding standards, templates, and best practices.
13. Experience in Python with data science libraries.
14. Experience in SQL programming and writing stored procedures, functions, views, SQL queries.
15. Experience working with HIPAA regulations and handling protected health information (PHI) and personally identifiable information (PII)..
16. Strong organizational and time management skills.

Desirable Skills:

• 8 years of experience in Data warehouse development.
• 8 years of experience with Snowflake.
• 4 years of experience in designing, optimizing, documenting, and implementing the operational aspects that support the Snowflake cloud data platform, including cost Experience in implementing and supporting automation for managing Snowflake accounts, databases, and access roles. monitoring, optimizations, and user security auditing.
• 4 years of experience in implementing and supporting automation for managing Snowflake accounts, databases, and access roles.
• 4 years of experience and understanding in proposing and implementing databases and Snowflake query performance optimizations.
• 4 years of experience with Git hub integration with snowflake and load data.
