Responsibilities:
An IT Asset Management Analyst is responsible for overseeing and managing an organization's IT assets, which include hardware, software, and network resources. The role involves tracking and maintaining an accurate inventory of assets, ensuring compliance with licensing agreements, optimizing asset utilization, and supporting procurement processes. Key responsibilities include Inventory Management, Compliance and Licensing, Procurement Support, Cost Optimization, Lifecycle Management and Reporting and Analysis.

Responsibilities:
An IT Asset Management Analyst is responsible for overseeing and managing an organization's IT assets, which include hardware, software, and network resources. The role involves tracking and maintaining an accurate inventory of assets, ensuring compliance with licensing agreements, optimizing asset utilization, and supporting procurement processes. Key responsibilities include Inventory Management, Compliance and Licensing, Procurement Support, Cost Optimization, Lifecycle Management and Reporting and Analysis.
- Manage inventory of hardware assets and/or software licenses to sure compliance with IT Asset Management Controls
- Ensure effective and accurate management of the Configuration Management Database (CMDB)
- Receive assets and ensure delivery to correct locations
- Manage lifecycle of hardware and software models from their introduction to their retirement
- Generate and distribute various reports, including compliance reports on current assets and Configuration Items (Cis) and perform trend analyses
- Audit software assets license contracts and hardware assets against actual inventory
- Establish and maintain documentation of procedures
- Take part in other ITSM processes, or as required, perform as a back up to maintain operational activities
- IT Vending Machine inventory and restocking
- Assist with the Change and Configuration Management Process
- Monitor shared mailboxes
- Assist with On/Offboarding of Bank Employees
- Monitor the ServiceNow Incident and Service Request Queues
Required Skills:
- Bachelor's degree required or related experience
- Minimum of 3 years demonstrated experience
- ServiceNow experience is essential
- Demonstrates Business Analyst skills such as analytical thinking and problem solving
- Possesses strong teamwork skills and the ability to build and work collaboratively within and across work teams
- Possesses general business acumen
- Strong customer service skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work well effectively on a team as well as independently with limited supervision
- Ability to grasp the essence of new technical concepts
- Ability to communicate with customers, management, and coworkers. Regular use of collaboration tools for communication is essential.
- Some moderately heavy lifting (of computers, monitors, printers, etc.) may be required
Preferred Skills:
- Certification in ITIL Service Management and/or IT Asset Management (IAITAM) preferred
