Lead Network Technician (Travel Role)
We're looking for a senior-level Network Technician who's ready to take charge and hit the road. This is a travel-based position, perfect for someone who enjoys working hands-on, leading teams, and solving technical challenges in different locations.

What You'll Do

  • Travel to various job sites to lead network installation and service projects
  • Supervise and support junior technicians on-site
  • Troubleshoot and maintain LAN, WAN, and cloud networks
  • Diagnose complex network issues using specialized tools
  • Manage technical project planning and execution
  • Monitor network performance and resolve connectivity issues
  • Help implement secure network solutions
  • Keep documentation clear and up to date

On-Site Responsibilities

  • Pull, place, terminate, and label copper and fiber cables
  • Build cable pathways and install support structures
  • Tone, test, and troubleshoot cables
  • Install cabinets, racks, patch panels, fiber enclosures, and hardware
  • Perform grounding per NECA or BICSI-607 standards
  • Track and manage tools and materials responsibly
  • Provide fast, effective solutions to customer issues

What You Bring

  • Strong experience with Cat5/Cat6 cabling, fiber optics, and terminations
  • Solid understanding of network systems and troubleshooting
  • Ability to install and maintain structured cabling systems
  • Experience with patch panels, racks, and enclosures
  • Great communication and problem-solving skills
  • Willingness and ability to travel regularly

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
