Supply Chain Techno Functional Consultant Position in Austin TX

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Techno-Functional Consultant with strong expertise in SQL and Tableau to support end-to-end supply chain operations through data-driven insights and functional process improvements. The ideal candidate will have a blend of supply chain domain knowledge and hands-on technical experience to bridge the gap between business requirements and technical implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze supply chain requirements.
• Translate business processes into functional and technical specifications.
• Develop and maintain complex SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze supply chain data.
• Design and develop Tableau dashboards and reports to support decision-making.
• Support ERP/Supply Chain Management systems integration and enhancements.
• Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams to ensure alignment.
• Perform root cause analysis and provide recommendations for process optimization.
• Document functional processes, data flows, and solutions.

Required Skills:

• Strong experience with SQL (advanced queries, joins, stored procedures).
• Proven expertise in Tableau (dashboard creation, performance optimization, data visualization best practices).
• Solid understanding of supply chain processes: procurement, inventory, order management, logistics, etc.
• Ability to interpret business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, etc.) is a plus.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor s or Master s degree in Supply Chain, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Prior experience in a techno-functional consultant role within the supply chain domain.
