Job Details
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Engineer to join our team for a one-year project. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation (rack and stack) of Cisco switches, the removal of outdated switches, and coordination with a disposal team to ensure proper disposal of decommissioned equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform rack and stack of Cisco switches in data centers and other facilities.
- Remove and decommission old network switches and ensure proper documentation and labeling.
- Coordinate with the disposal team to manage the disposal of decommissioned equipment in compliance with company policies and environmental regulations.
- Conduct network assessments and provide recommendations for improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of new network components.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network issues related to the installation and removal of switches.
- Maintain accurate records of network configurations and changes.
- Ensure all work is performed in accordance with industry standards and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in network engineering, with a focus on Cisco technologies.
- Proven experience with the installation and configuration of Cisco switches.
- Strong understanding of network protocols and configurations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent are preferred.

- This position requires physical activity, including lifting and moving network equipment.
