What you will do:

  • Lead a large-scale IT program or portfolio aligned with business objectives and focused on delivering measurable ROI
  • Collaborate with IT leadership to convert strategic goals into executable plans
  • Oversee multiple project teams within a unified program structure to enhance efficiency and integration
  • Create and manage forecasts, identify inefficiencies, resolve staffing challenges, and guide financial performance
  • Work closely with Project Managers to ensure accurate financial forecasting and maintain accountability for overall program finances
  • Track and report on program status, risks, and dependencies while escalating issues when necessary
  • Communicate across all organizational levels, including executive leadership, to provide insights, influence decisions, and maintain alignment
  • Evaluate risks, consider trade-offs, and apply mitigation strategies to keep programs progressing
  • Promote consistency in reporting, communication, and governance across all projects in the portfolio

What you will need to be successful:

  • Over 7 10 years of experience applying formal project and program management methodologies, techniques, and tools
  • Proven success leading large-scale IT programs and portfolios in complex enterprise environments
  • Skilled in developing and managing key deliverables, including financial forecasts, roadmaps, communication plans, risk registers, and milestone charts
  • Experienced in managing scope, issues, risks, and quality to ensure delivery within budget and timeline
  • Strong proficiency with enterprise project management tools such as Clarity, MS Project, Planview, ServiceNow, and Jira
  • Demonstrated leadership in building trust, guiding teams, and fostering collaboration
  • Deep understanding of both waterfall and agile methodologies, with the ability to apply them appropriately
  • PMP certification or equivalent program, project management, or Agile certification required
