Summary

Would you like to join Apple's growing wireless silicon development team? Our wireless SOC organization is responsible for all aspects of wireless silicon development with a particular emphasis on highly energy efficient / low power design and new technologies that transform the user experience at the product level, all of which is driven by a world-class vertically integrated engineering team spanning RF/Analog architecture and design, Systems/PHY/MAC/Power architecture and design, VLSI/RTL design and integration, Emulation, Design Verification, Test and Validation, Power modeling / correlation and FW/SW engineering. In this highly visible role, you will be at the center of a silicon design group with a critical impact on getting functional products to hundreds of millions of customers quickly. Key Qualifications

Understand ASIC logic design; Actual design experience is a plusKnowledge of low power design and UPF. Actual experience is a plusProficiency in scripting languages (Shell, Perl or Python)Basic knowledge on common SOC components, e.g. CPU, fabric, peripherals and PCIeStrong problem solving and analytical skills

Description

In this role, you are going to work on power modeling, analysis and correlation tasks for wireless communication SoCs, including: - Define and generate power vectors with Design and DV support- Collect pre-silicon power data using power flow and tools- Analyze and identify power reduction- Build key wireless atomic power model- Support post-silicon power correlation

Pay & Benefits

  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $55.82 and $84.09/hr, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
