Essential Skills & Qualifications:
Responsibilities
- Rack, build, cable, configure, and provision Client and AMD servers
- Strong Lab admins with Data center skills and Linux skills
- Rack, cable, and deploy Cisco Layer 2 networking equipment
- Perform troubleshooting, testing, and quality assurance of server hardware
- Resolve hardware issues professionally via ticketing systems (e.g., GitLab)
- Support operating system installation: Windows Server, Linux, and Unix
- Perform basic lab administration and hands-on feet on the ground activities
- Manage assets, maintain inventory, and ensure proper documentation
- Assist in data center operations including virtualization, networking, and infrastructure support
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to quickly resolve issues and remove roadblocks
- Communicate effectively with customers, partners, and executives
- Maintain safety and quality standards in all lab and data center activities
- Operating System installation (Windows Server, Linux, Unix)
- Data Center operations, virtualization, and networking knowledge
- Understanding of CPU/GPU hardware, infrastructure, and Linux scripting
- Knowledge of RAID levels (plus)
- Web Server and Database installation experience (plus)
- Strong analysis and problem-solving skills
