Requirements for this position

To thrive as the Full-Time Public Works GIS Coordinator in Haltom City, you'll need a robust skill set that sets you apart. A Bachelor's degree in Geographical Information Systems, Geography, or a related field is your foundation, complemented by at least three years of practical experience with Cartegraph software administration or a similar asset management system. Your expertise in GIS development and administration will empower you to create and maintain efficient mapping solutions that serve the community. Proficiency in Microsoft Access and Excel is essential; these tools will be your trusty sidekicks as you navigate data and collaborate with Public Works.

  • Experience with Microsoft Access and Excel, with the ability to create basic databases and/or calculation tables.

  • A valid Texas driver's license or the ability to obtain one at time of hire.
