Job Title: Sitecore Full Stack Engineer

Location: Philadelphia, PA (Onsite)

Duration/Term: Long Term Contract

Job Overview:

  • We are looking for a skilled and experienced Sitecore Full Stack Engineer to join our digital development team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Sitecore CMS (preferably versions 9.x and above), strong .NET development skills, and experience with modern front-end technologies. You ll be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining robust, scalable, and user-friendly web applications for enterprise-level clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop Sitecore-based web applications using both front-end and back-end technologies.
  • Customize and extend Sitecore solutions using ASP.NET MVC, C#, Sitecore Helix/Habitat principles, and Sitecore APIs.
  • Build reusable components, templates, and layouts leveraging Sitecore SXA (if applicable).
  • Collaborate with UX/UI designers, QA, DevOps, and product stakeholders to deliver high-quality digital solutions.
  • Optimize application performance, ensuring responsive and scalable websites.
  • Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and other Agile ceremonies.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and bugs.
  • Integrate third-party APIs and services as needed.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement in coding standards and engineering practices.

Mandatory Competencies (Must-Haves): Sitecore / Backend Development:

  • 5+ years hands-on experience with Sitecore CMS (preferably v9.x or higher).
  • Strong proficiency in ASP.NET MVC, C#, and the .NET ecosystem.
  • Experience with Sitecore XP, Sitecore JSS, and Sitecore Headless architecture.
  • Familiarity with Sitecore Content Serialization (SCS), Helix principles, and modular development.
  • Deep understanding of Sitecore pipelines, events, and custom module development.
  • Experience integrating Sitecore with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, or third-party services.

Front-End Development:

  • Strong skills in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern frameworks (React, Vue, Angular, or Sitecore JSS).
  • Experience with frontend build tools (Webpack, NPM, Gulp).
  • Responsive design implementation using frameworks like Bootstrap, Tailwind, or Foundation.

DevOps & Development Practices:

  • Experience with version control (Git, GitFlow).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions).
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies and participation in Scrum ceremonies.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Experience with Sitecore SXA (Sitecore Experience Accelerator).
  • Knowledge of Sitecore Personalization, xConnect, xDB, and Analytics.
  • Experience working with Azure PaaS, Sitecore Managed Cloud, or other cloud platforms.
  • Familiarity with Sitecore Commerce.
  • Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) in Sitecore environments.
  • Certifications in Sitecore (Developer, Architect) or Microsoft Azure.
  • Understanding of SEO, web accessibility (WCAG 2.1), and performance optimization.
  • Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
