Job Details

We are currently seeking an experienced, dynamic, and detail-oriented Permanent Quality Engineer to join our Accounting and Finance team. This role is integral to our company's commitment to quality, efficiency, and regulatory compliance within the medical device industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of our products and services, implementing performance improvement strategies, conducting audits, and maintaining our Quality Management System (QMS).

Responsibilities:
1. Oversee the development and implementation of a robust Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with ISO standards.
2. Conduct regular internal and external audits to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and quality standards.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas of improvement and implement performance improvement strategies.
4. Manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) and Supplier Corrective Action Requests (SCAR) to ensure timely resolution of issues.
5. Lead the maintenance and continuous improvement of quality control procedures and processes.
6. Monitor and analyze quality performance data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
7. Collaborate with the product development team to ensure that quality considerations are integrated into product design and manufacturing processes.
8. Provide training and guidance to staff on quality standards and best practices.
9. Ensure adherence to all safety and regulatory requirements related to medical devices.

Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Quality Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in Quality Engineering within the Accounting and Finance industry.
3. Proven experience in the Medical Device industry, with a strong understanding of regulatory requirements and quality standards.
4. Demonstrated experience in conducting audits and implementing performance improvement strategies.
5. Proficient in managing NCR and SCAR processes.
6. Strong knowledge of ISO standards and experience in implementing and maintaining a QMS.
7. Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team.
9. Proficient in the use of MS Office Suite and quality management software.
10. Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or similar certification would be an advantage.
