Location : Boston, Massachusetts
Job Description:
- We are seeking a passionate and seasoned Senior QA Automation Engineer with 8 10 years of experience in building robust test automation frameworks using Karate and Java.
- As part of our dynamic and quality-driven team, you will be responsible for designing and executing high-performance automated tests to ensure the reliability and scalability of complex systems.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain test automation frameworks using Karate and Java
- Test and validate RESTful APIs using tools like Karate and Postman
- Design and execute SQL queries to perform detailed data verification
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile/Scrum environments
- Identify, track, and manage defects through the entire software lifecycle
- Define and implement BDD test scenarios using Gherkin/Cucumber
- Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines for faster release cycles
- Conduct full-stack testing, including cloud-based applications on AWS
- Advocate for QA best practices and drive quality initiatives across teams
Required Skills:
- 8 10 years of hands-on experience in QA automation using Karate with Java
- Strong understanding of SQL and database modeling
- Expertise in API testing (RESTful) with tools such as Postman and Karate
- Thorough grasp of QA methodologies, Agile/Scrum processes, and defect tracking
- Working knowledge of BDD practices and CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitLab
- Proven experience with AWS and cloud-native testing environments
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Passion for delivering high-quality software and continuous improvement
