Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Azure Administrator to manage, monitor, and maintain our client s Azure infrastructure and cloud-based services. The Azure Administrator will be responsible for maintaining operational health, implementing security best practices, and optimizing cloud resource utilization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage, monitor, and maintain Azure cloud infrastructure services, including VMs, networking, storage, and databases.
  • Implement and manage Azure Active Directory, RBAC, and security policies.
  • Deploy and configure Azure resources using Azure Portal, CLI, PowerShell, and ARM templates.
  • Set up and manage Azure Backup, Site Recovery, and other disaster recovery solutions.
  • Monitor Azure infrastructure using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
  • Implement governance strategies through Azure Policies, blueprints, and cost management tools.
  • Collaborate with DevOps, networking, and security teams to ensure secure, scalable, and cost-effective cloud operations.
  • Automate operational tasks using PowerShell and Azure CLI.
  • Manage hybrid cloud environments and on-prem to Azure migrations.
  • Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for Azure services and infrastructure issues.
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation for infrastructure and operational processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience as a System/Cloud Administrator with 5+ years specifically in Azure administration.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Storage, Azure Networking, Load Balancers, and VPN Gateways.
  • Solid knowledge of Azure Active Directory, RBAC, and Azure security best practices.
  • Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools like ARM Templates, Terraform, or Bicep.
  • Strong scripting skills in PowerShell and Azure CLI.
  • Familiarity with Azure Monitor, Azure Security Center, Log Analytics, and related monitoring tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
