Desktop Support Specialist - Las Vegas, NV (100% Onsite)
Be the face of IT in a fast-paced, high-impact environment!
Are you ready to be the go-to tech hero for a bustling Las Vegas office? We're looking for a Desktop Support Specialist who thrives on solving problems, enjoys being hands-on, and loves helping people get back to work with a smile. This is a long-term contract role supporting around 50 local users while also being part of a nationwide IT team serving over 5,000 employees across 23 offices and hundreds of job sites.

What You'll Do:

  • Be the friendly face of IT-handling walk-ups, chats, emails, and calls with confidence and professionalism.
  • Tackle both local and remote support issues (about 30% onsite, 70% remote).
  • Troubleshoot everything from Outlook profiles and network connectivity to virtual desktops and printer mapping.
  • Document incidents in Zendesk and escalate when needed.
  • Train users on hardware/software and create knowledgebase articles during downtime.
  • Work independently-no micromanagement here!

What You Bring:

  • Solid experience resolving L1/L2 issues in a Microsoft 365 environment.
  • Familiarity with Entra ID, DNS/DHCP troubleshooting, and remote support tools like GoToAssist.
  • Strong understanding of ITIL processes and hardware lifecycle management.
  • Excellent communication skills-you can explain tech to anyone.
  • A proactive mindset and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced setting.

Tech Environment:

  • Lenovo laptops running Windows 11.
  • Imaging and hardware replacements handled by a third-party vendor-so you can focus on what matters.
  • Zendesk ticketing system with ~2,000 tickets/month across the company.
  • You'll be the sole IT support onsite, working 7AM-4PM from a cubicle in a collaborative office.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
