Job Summary:
The Cloud Architect will be responsible for designing and planning cloud infrastructure, ensuring alignment with enterprise goals, cost optimization, and long-term scalability. This role works at a strategic level, collaborating across teams to define standards, governance, and technical direction for cloud adoption and modernization.
Responsibilities:
- Design comprehensive cloud architecture (networking, storage, compute).
- Align cloud strategies with enterprise architecture and business goals.
- Establish governance, policies, and architecture standards.
- Define future-state and transitional cloud environments.
- Collaborate with executives, project teams, and developers.
- Document architecture using Visio or similar tools.
- Build cost management dashboards using tools like Power BI.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of experience in cloud and enterprise architecture.
- In-depth experience with Azure, AWS, or other major cloud platforms.
- Familiarity with architecture frameworks and cloud-native tools.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Experience leading enterprise-level cloud initiatives.
