Financial Accounting Analyst

Comprobase is seeking a Financial Accounting Analyst / Consultant to work on financial, budget, and audit remediation related challenges. Can work out of New York, NY or Chicago, IL offices.

Duties and responsibilities:

What you ll do: (assignments may include responsibilities in one of more of the following areas):
Develop knowledge of a client s industry, customers, organization and business objectives.
Analyze and solve financial and budget management related challenges for our clients to create or improve a system, process, data, controls and other.
Provide quality client support by answering questions and fostering communication.
Candidate will work on assessing processes, documents, organization structure, and system activities to identify gaps, provide recommendations, innovation and solutions.
Candidate will work closely with the client staff, production team, and development team to translate client issues and concerns into workable solutions.
Provide in depth financial and budget analysis to guide the client.
Provide research to identify causes for errors, manual processes, workflow and control issues.
Support client in complying with regulations, policies and procedures to promote sound, consistent financial and budgetary practices.
Assist with developing training materials and conducting training.
Support periodic financial reporting preparation in compliance with federal regulations

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Minimum 7 years of Accounting/financial experience

CGFM or CPA
CISA
Certified Internal Auditor (CIA)
