We are seeking a skilled and proactive Linux Systems Administrator to join our IT infrastructure team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing and maintaining systems running Ubuntu and Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL). This role is critical to ensuring the stability, security, and performance of our Linux-based environments.

Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers (Ubuntu and RHEL).
- Monitor system performance and ensure availability and reliability.
- Apply OS patches and upgrades regularly; maintain administrative tools and utilities.
- Manage system backups and disaster recovery operations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
- Maintain system security through access controls, firewalls, and regular audits.
- Automate routine tasks using shell scripts or configuration management tools.
- Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to support application deployment and infrastructure needs.

- Windows Server (basic familiarity)
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship is required due to security clearance requirements.
- Must have an active Secret Security Clearance at the start of employment.
- Typically requires a university degree and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field. In lieu of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience is acceptable.
- 3+ years of experience as a Linux Systems Administrator.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
