Position BA (Business Analyst) with Banking experience

Key Responsibilities:
- Work with business and technical stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document requirements related to banking APIs, integrations, and core banking systems.
- Act as a liaison between business users and the technical team to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.
- Define user stories, use cases, process flows, and system interaction diagrams.
- Collaborate with solution architects and developers to design API-based solutions that align with business goals.
- Participate in API specification design (RESTful APIs, JSON/XML) and understand OpenAPI/Swagger documentation.
- Analyze existing core banking processes and propose optimizations or digital transformation opportunities.
- Support UAT by preparing test scenarios, reviewing test cases, and validating outcomes.
- Help with backlog grooming, sprint planning, and Agile ceremonies when needed.
- Ensure traceability of requirements through design, development, and testing phases.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 6+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in the banking/financial services industry.
- In-depth knowledge of core banking systems (e.g., Finacle, TCS BaNCS, Temenos, or similar).
- Strong understanding of banking APIs and integration patterns.
- Familiarity with API standards, including REST, SOAP, JSON, XML,Authentication
- Experience working in Agile and DevOps environments.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills to interact with stakeholders at various levels.
- Hands-on experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI, and Visio.
Good to Have:
- Experience in Digital Banking or Neo-banking implementations.
- Knowledge of ISO 20022, SWIFT, and real-time payment systems (e.g., UPI, RTP, FedNow).
- Familiarity with cloud-native architectures and microservices.
- Domain certifications like CBAP, CCBA, or banking certifications.
