Job Title: ServiceNow Business Analyst SPM Module

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled ServiceNow Business Analyst (SPM Strategic Portfolio Management module) to join our banking client s digital transformation team. The BA will play a critical role in gathering business requirements, analyzing processes, and ensuring successful implementation and optimization of ServiceNow SPM solutions. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams, with deep knowledge of ServiceNow s SPM capabilities and experience in financial services or banking environments.
Key Responsibilities
Act as liaison between business stakeholders, product owners, and ServiceNow development teams.
Gather, document, and validate business and functional requirements for ServiceNow SPM module (Project Portfolio Management, Demand, Resource, Financials, and Strategy).
Collaborate with business users to analyze current project/portfolio management processes and identify gaps.
Translate business needs into detailed user stories, process flows, acceptance criteria, and functional specs.
Support backlog grooming, sprint planning, and UAT for SPM-related features.
Work with architects and developers to ensure requirements are correctly implemented and aligned with best practices.
Conduct workshops, demos, and training sessions for business users.
Ensure compliance with banking/financial regulatory standards and IT governance.
Provide ongoing support for enhancements, upgrades, and reporting needs within ServiceNow SPM.
Required Skills & Qualifications
6+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, with at least 3+ years in ServiceNow SPM (PPM/ITBM).
Strong understanding of ServiceNow SPM capabilities: Demand, Project, Portfolio, Resource, Financial, Roadmaps, and APM integration.
Experience in banking or financial services industry (preferred).
Ability to create clear documentation: BRDs, FRDs, process maps, and user stories.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology and tools like JIRA or Azure DevOps.
Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of ITIL, governance frameworks, and regulatory compliance in financial institutions is a plus.
Nice-to-Have Skills
ServiceNow CSA or SPM certification.
Knowledge of related ServiceNow modules: APM, ITSM, CMDB.
Experience in reporting/dashboards (Performance Analytics).
Exposure to cloud-based banking and risk/compliance projects.
