One of our clients is looking for an integration lead who specializes within Oracle RMS.

 

Description

As Integration lead on Inventory Systems, you will be working with a cross functional team to deliver functional requirements, design, develop and implement Inventory, Supply Chain and Finance solutions. You will ensure that the Inventory platform is built using best practices to meet the scalability and reliability required for growing business needs.

  • Bachelor's or master’s degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 5+ strong techno functional experience in Oracle Retail suites of applications (RMS).
  • Knowledge of Oracle Retail Merchandise System(RMS), Oracle Retail Sales Audit (ReSA), Retail Price Management (RPM).
  • Expert in Oracle PLSQL, Proc, UNIX shell scripting, integration Bus and message services.
  • Experience in developing and designing complex applications revolving around RMS with understanding of production support, maintenance process.
  • Experience working on service-oriented architecture.
  • Experience using a version control system as GIT/GITLAB. TES or any other Job scheduler experience is a plus.
  • Experience in Agile development methodologies using SCRUM and Test-Driven development.
  • Experience with Kafka streaming, Kubernetes, and public cloud infrastructure (AWS) is a bonus.
  • Knowledge in event driven design and implementation patterns, containers and micro-services, REST APIs are a bonus.
  • Experience in using CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, maven/Gradle.

 

Top Skills Details

  • 5+ years of experience of working with Oracle Retail products – RMS/ReSA/RIB. This will show up by candidates having enterprise experience (1000+ employees) supporting applications within a retail organization.
  • A successful candidate will have 5+ years’ experience in a lead role (20% of role is mentoring/ driving projects and 80% will be hands on technical) with coding abilities in Kafka and Gitlab are the main skillsets as well as (SQL, PL/SQL, Pro\*C, Shell or Java script) and analytical skills for debugging issues within large scale applications. They will also have hands on experience building scalable technical solutions involving Oracle retail – core modules or integrations.
  • Strong experience with cloud (preferably AWS) - deploying and monitoring code from an applications perspective. Knowledge in modernizing legacy systems using any Cloud Methodologies will be an added advantage.
  • Someone with experience completing migration and upgrade work within Oracle is an ASSET - This team is going to be taking on a massive oracle upgrade from oracle 16 to Oracle 21.
