Role: Sr. IT Project Manager with Agile (Banking Domain) - w2

Location: NYC, NY - Hybrid

Duration: Long-Term Contract

JD:

  • Client is seeking an experienced Senior IT Project Manager with strong Agile delivery expertise to manage complex, enterprise-scale initiatives involving Billing, Transaction Processing, and Data platforms.

  • The role requires managing multiple parallel engagements, coordinating with diverse stakeholders, and ensuring timely delivery across cross-functional teams within a regulated banking environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 12 15 years of overall IT experience, with significant exposure as a Project Manager / Program Manager.

  • Strong hands-on experience in Agile / Scrum / SAFe frameworks.

  • Proven experience managing multiple engagements simultaneously.

  • Strong understanding of:

    • Billing systems

    • Transaction processing (TRX) platforms

    • Data platforms / reporting / integrations

  • Mandatory experience in the Banking / Financial Services domain.

  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, including senior leadership interaction.

  • Strong knowledge of SDLC, Agile delivery metrics, and governance models.

  • Experience working in large enterprise or global banking environments.

  • Ability to handle ambiguity, dependencies, and high-pressure delivery timelines.

  • Excellent documentation, presentation, and coordination skills.
