Job Title: Google Cloud Platform Data Engineer

Location: Remote

Python, terraform, Apache Airflow, preferably via Cloud Composer ( 80% Infra side and 20% Application side)

Job Description:
Design and deploy cloud-based infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) using various services (e.g., Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Functions, BigQuery, etc.).
Manage and monitor cloud environments, ensuring their optimal performance, availability, and security.
Collaborate with development teams to create efficient and scalable cloud architectures.
Automate cloud operations using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Cloud Deployment Manager, etc.
Implement cloud security best practices to ensure data and application security.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Google Cloud Platform services, applications, and infrastructure.
Provide cost optimization strategies and monitoring to ensure effective use of resources.
Stay up-to-date with the latest Google Cloud Platform technologies and recommend improvements based on emerging trends.
Perform regular backups, patching, and updates for cloud-based systems.
