EDI Test Automation Engineer 100% Remote
Responsibilities:
- Develop, execute, and maintain automated test cases for a wide range of EDI transactions, including 837, 820, 835, 270/271, 277U, and NCPDP.
- Design and build test automation frameworks leveraging Python, C#, and VBScript.
- Validate EDI data mappings, transformations, and business rules within ITX and Edifecs environments.
- Ensure all EDI processes and test outputs align with HIPAA compliance standards.
- Collaborate with development, QA, and integration teams to troubleshoot EDI issues and optimize workflows.
- Document test results, defects, and requirements traceability to support overall quality assurance.
Requirements:
- Extensive hands-on experience with healthcare EDI transactions: 837, 820, 835, 270/271, 277U, NCPDP.
- Strong working knowledge of ITX, Edifecs, and HIPAA regulatory compliance.
- Proficiency in Python, C#, and VBScript for test automation development.
- Background in building automated testing frameworks and integrating them into CI/CD pipelines (preferred).
- Ability to analyze complex EDI files and troubleshoot mapping, transformation, and compliance issues.
