Senior Cloud Engineer

As a Cloud Engineer, you will work with Cloud Engineering Infrastructure Platforms and Interfaces that enable streamlined application and service development on top of our Cloud Infrastructure.

Youll work closely with our clients, ensuring fast turnaround of feature requests and bug fixes. You will be working on capabilities that will reduce engineering effort to provision, deploy, configure, update and repair activities during the lifecycle of an application, game or service running on our cloud infrastructure. You will work with multiple teams across the globe and help to continue evolving Cloud Infrastructure and Developer's experience. We are a Dev+Ops style organization practicing you build it, you run it for all the capabilities that we offer.

This position offers remote setup with the flexibility to work from any location in Georgia, whether it's your home, well-equipped offices in Tbilisi and Batumi or a coworking space in Kutaisi.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of Cloud Team, which owns EKS services, Cloud Platform provisioning and lifecycle management, and certificate monitoring
• Develop high-quality, stable code for use in automation and internal customer-facing APIs
• Take part in the support rota providing support to customers on the services Cloud Engineering supports
• Write and publish High-Level Designs and developer documentation
• Problem solve at every layer of the technology stack
• Participate in bottom-up planning around release schedules, workload and priority
• Design for privacy, security, compliance, high availability, performance and resilience across all web services and infrastructure capabilities

Requirements

• In-depth experience in Golang (test task completion will be required)
• Extensive knowledge of working with AWS, in particular with provisioning, IAM roles and general account management
• Good knowledge of Kubernetes solutions like EKS
• Experience using Terraform, Git and other IaC tooling
• Good networking knowledge, particularly of networking in AWS
• Strong communication and client-centricity
