TEKsystems is looking for a SOC Engineer to join one of
our top financial clients in the Charlotte, NC area. This role is 100%
onsite and offers strong training, long-term stability, and growth

Top Skills:
  1. 3-5 years of experience in a Security Operations Center (SOC)
  2. Hands-on experience with Splunk as a SIEM tool
  3. Strong understanding of NIST standards, incident response, and vulnerability management

Description:
Our client is seeking a SOC Engineer to join their 24x7 global Security
Operations Center. This person will be responsible for monitoring, identifying,
and responding to security incidents across various platforms including
Windows, wireless, laptops, and servers. The role includes:
  • Rapid assessment of security alerts
  • Correlation analysis across multiple data sources
  • Incident response and escalation
  • Working with tools like Splunk, NetWitness, CrowdStrike, SentinelOne, and XSOAR
  • Supporting vulnerability scans, audits, and risk assessments
  • Collaborating with internal teams to resolve sensor anomalies and infrastructure issues

Work Environment:

This is a Contract position based out of Charlotte, NC.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $53.59/hr.
Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job
