Overview
GovCIO is currently hiring for Junior Microsoft 365 (M365) Administrator to support our US Coast Guard IPSS contract needs. The Microsoft 365 (M365) administrator will be responsible for managing the deployment, usage, and maintenance of the Microsoft 365 platform. The role requires strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills. The ideal candidate should be able to present complex technical information clearly to non-technical audiences and possess excellent communication skills, both oral and written. This position is located in the within the United States and is a full remote position.

Posted Pay Range
The posted pay range, if referenced, reflects the range expected for this position at the commencement of employment, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and internal equity. The total compensation package for this position may also include other compensation elements, to be discussed during the hiring process. If hired, employee will be in an "at-will position" and the GovCIO reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, GovCIO or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

Responsibilities
- Utilize a working knowledge of the following: M365 services, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive for Business, and Office 365 applications; with an emphasis in PowerApps, Power Bi, Power Automate.
- Manage users and groups, assign administrative roles, and configure security and privacy settings through the Admin Center.
- Regularly review reports to enhance the efficiency of the Office 365 environment and monitor the health and performance of M365 services using built-in and third-party tools.
- Provide technical support and configuration assistance to employees regarding Microsoft 365 applications.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field with 3-5 years (or commensurate experience)
Required Skills and Experience
- Candidate must have a working knowledge of the following M365 services, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive for Business, and Office 365 applications; with an emphasis in PowerApps, Power Bi, Power Automate.
- 3-5 years of experience as an M365 Administrator or in a similar role within an enterprise environment.
- Must be proficient in PowerApps, Power Bi, Power Automate experience
- Knowledgeable in PowerShell scripting for automating and managing M365 environments.
- Experience with Azure, in either government or non-government settings.
- Familiarity with Intune, SCCM, or Endpoint Manager for application and device management.
- Must have a Security Plus certification or equivalent
