Job Summary:
We are looking for a proactive and results-driven Technical Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex technical projects. The ideal candidate will have a solid technical background, excellent stakeholder management skills, and the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
The Technical Project Manager will serve as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring alignment, transparency, and successful execution of project goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and timelines in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Develop detailed project plans, manage budgets, and allocate resources effectively.
- Coordinate internal teams (engineering, QA, infrastructure, DevOps) and external vendors.
- Track project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and other Agile ceremonies (if applicable).
- Provide technical insight to help guide decision-making, especially during key architectural or implementation phases.
- Act as the main point of contact for client communication and stakeholder updates.
- Ensure quality assurance, compliance, and project documentation standards are met.
- Manage project changes and scope adjustments as needed.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in project management, with at least 4+ years in a technical environment.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) or telecom/network infrastructure (depending on context).
- Proven ability to manage complex, multi-phase projects with multiple stakeholders.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
- Experience with project management tools like Jira, MS Project, Trello, Asana, or Smartsheet.
- Ability to interpret technical details and explain them to non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
- PMP, PRINCE2, or Scrum Master certification.
- Experience with Agile, Scrum, or hybrid methodologies.
- Background in software engineering, systems architecture, or telecom/network infrastructure.
- Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, or cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
