Job Details
Role: Business Analyst/ Architect
Location: Austin, TX Hybrid
Focus Areas: MITA Framework, Medicaid/HHS systems, Business Process Reengineering, Enterprise Architecture, BPMN/UML/ArchiMate
Experience:
- 8 years of progressive experience in a Business Architect role or similar strategic capacity, with a focus on enterprise-level initiatives.
- 8 years of proven success leading or contributing to large-scale digital transformation and business process reengineering projects, with demonstrated results in improving operational efficiency and service delivery.
- 8 years of demonstrable expertise with MITA (Medicaid Information Technology Architecture), including practical application in complex system environments. Experience with MITA State Self-Assessments (SS-A) is highly desirable.
- 8 years of advanced business modeling experience using methodologies and tools such as BPMN, UML, and ArchiMate, along with a strong understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks.
- 8 years of proven analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities to address complex business challenges and design practical solutions.
- 8 years of demonstrated excellence in written and verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to clearly convey complex concepts to various stakeholders.
- 8 years of strong negotiation, facilitation, and conflict resolution skills.
- 8 years of successful experience collaborating with both technical and non-technical teams to analyze and improve business processes.
Education:
- Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (required).
- Master s degree preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience with Health and Human Services (HHS) integrated eligibility systems such as Medicaid, SNAP, TANF, or CHIP, including a strong grasp of federal regulations and state-specific policy nuances.
- Experience working within a government or public sector environment.
- Relevant certifications such as CBAP, TOGAF, BPMN, or Lean Six Sigma (Green or Black Belt).
- Familiarity with Agile and Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodologies.
- At least 3 years of working knowledge of eligibility rules for SNAP, Medicaid, and TANF programs, including policy interpretation and application within integrated eligibility case management systems.
