SYSTEMTEC is seeking a System Administrator to assist in a project which will include support of Windows, Dell, Cisco, Meraki, HyperV, Veeam backup, Netapps, Wasabi cloud, supporting in-house ticketing systems developed in SharePoint.
Onsite Columbia, SC: Work hours 8:30a-5pm.
Responsibilities of the System Administrator:
Responsible for providing advanced technical support, managing user accounts and permissions, maintaining system infrastructure (Windows / Dell systems, Cisco Network, on-prem servers), and contributing to the overall IT strategy of the organization.
This role bridges the gap between end-user support and system-level administration and requires strong technical skills with 4-5 years of experience in an IT role.
Requirements of the System Administrator:
- Provide network support:
- Cisco switches (Layer 2 and Layer 3)
- Port configuration
- Pao Alto for firewalls
- Cisco Meraki for Wi-Fi
- VPN troubleshooting
- Office 365 support, Provide on-prem server support
- Diagnosing and resolve complex technical issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity for both local and remote users
- Manage and resolve escalated help desk tickets, acting as a point of contact for complex or recurring problems
