Role: -Technical Duck Creek Lead - Hybrid

Location :- Des Moines, IA -USA

Duration :- Long term

Job Description :-

*** Very long term project Initial PO till for 1 year *** - ***Hybrid (2 days onsite/3 days remote)***

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the team for Duck Creek Claims related development, maintenance and support
  • SPOC for all claims related work with customer
  • Requirement gathering, analysis, design and develop solutions
  • Responsible for Customization, Configuration, upgrade, testing and deployment of Duck Creek Claims components and interfaces associated with Defects and enhancements.
  • Provide effort estimation, Manage offshore work assignment, peer review and code promotion
  • Debug, analyse root cause and resolve technical issues
  • Collaborate with different customer teams and Value Momentum offshore teams Business, IT, QA, DevOps, Architects to discuss and resolve issues effectively
  • Mentor VM team on Duck Creek Claims features, best practices, and productivity improvements
  • Lead daily scrum and sprint planning
  • Report daily/weekly status to project manager and client (if needed)
  • Provide the best practices and industry trends

Requirements:

The requirements must have been:

  • Strong understanding of P&C industry and solutions with 4-7+ years experience in Duck Creek Claims (version 12 preferred)
  • Experience in application Development engagements (Commercial and Specialty insurance preferred)
  • Technical knowledge of Duck Creek Claims and detailed understanding of Duck creek Architecture, Data Model, UI design, processes, and events.
  • Knowledge of Duck creek products include architecture, data model, components, modules, and extensions.
  • Experience in configuring Duck Creek Claims product.
  • Experience in Agile methodology
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Have previous technical experience in requirement analysis, detailed designs and implementation activities required to ensure the development, integration, and long-term maintenance of applications.
  • Identifies, communicates, and provides solutions to any cross-area or cross-release issues that may affect other dependent applications.
  • Understanding DCOD Environment

Good to Have:

  • Experience in NET 4.5 and above, SQL Server/Oracle DB, Angular, XML, REST API
  • Experience in integrating Duck Creek Claims product with in-house systems and third-party systems.
  • Duck Creek Claims Certification is preferable.
