Senior IT Project Manager

Hansen Talent Group is seeking a strong IT Project Manager to work with a great security and compliance team in the Columbia, SC area. The ideal candidate is onsite and has in-depth experience supporting security portfolios of work.

The Sr IT Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing multiple projects from inception through post-implementation in support of all security/compliance/governance IT projects to include implementation of new processes, security control development, audit management, as well as software/hardware implementations.

Duties:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business objectives and needs. Using this information, develop scope of work and project plans to ensure success delivery of product.
• Develop project timelines and track milestones to ensure project stays on track and can be delivered within the established deadline.
• Oversee project budget, allocating resources and tracking expenses throughout project efforts.
• Identify risks to delivery and proactively remove obstacles from the process for both business and technical teams.
• Provide regular stakeholder updates and recommendations on changes to project plans.

Qualifications:

• In-depth experience supporting enterprise IT projects and portfolios as a Project Manager
• Agile and Waterfall delivery
• Tools: MS Project, VISIO, excel,
• Certified Scrum Master
