Job Title: Full Stack Engineer (Data + DevOps)
Location: McLean, VA (100% On-site, M F)
Job Type: W2 Contract
Must-Have Skills
- Python & PySpark-based microservices
- AWS EKS
- PostgreSQL (AWS-hosted)
- Automation Testing: Behave/Cucumber, PyTest
- CI/CD: Jenkins, SonarQube, Fortify
- Snowflake
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience with legacy systems: Informatica, SAS, AutoSys, DB2
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain microservices using Python, PySpark, and AWS technologies.
- Perform system, functional, and data analysis on legacy systems and translate into technical/functional documentation.
- Write automated tests using Behave/Cucumber and PyTest.
- Ensure high code quality, performance tuning, and scalability.
- Deploy containerized applications to AWS EKS using Jenkins.
- Collaborate with business teams to understand requirements and create data mappings.
- Utilize DevOps tools, including SonarQube and Fortify, for code quality and security.
Qualifications
- Proven experience with Python, PySpark, AWS Postgres, Behave/Cucumber, and PyTest.
- Strong DevOps and CI/CD experience.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to lead sprint planning, backlog refinement, and stakeholder engagement.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
