  • Track and manage software changes, defects, and feature requests in JIRA and other GM engineering tools.
  • Lead root cause analysis for Digital Key-related issues, driving cross-functional teams to resolution.
  • Ensure Digital Key software meets timing, safety, security, and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide launch, plant, and service support for Digital Key issues, including vehicle/mobile app interoperability.
  • Maintain documentation, configuration control, and audit readiness for all Digital Key software releases.

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field.
  • 7+ years of experience in embedded software development, connected vehicle features, or software release engineering.
  • Familiarity with Bluetooth LE (BLE), NFC, UWB, and secure communication protocols.
  • Knowledge of automotive communication (CAN, LIN, Ethernet) and integration tools (Vector CANoe, Vehicle Spy).
  • Experience with JIRA, GitHub, Jenkins, and configuration management tools.
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills across hardware, software, and mobile environments.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with ability to interface across domains (in-vehicle, cloud, mobile, cybersecurity).

Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Experience working on Digital Key, Car Connectivity Consortium (CCC) standards, or similar connected car features.
  • Understanding of GM Global BOMS, WERS, PRTS, and calibration workflows.
  • Experience working with supplier software teams and managing deliveries to automotive programs.
  • Prior exposure to PKI, certificate management, and secure provisioning of keys in mobile/vehicle systems.
